Heather and I have been around animals since we were kids, we know how important they are in our lives. Both of us have strong animal care backgrounds: we each grew up handling livestock—Heather in upstate New York, myself in Oregon—and both of us have cared for many wonderful critters along the way. We both are competent and comfortable administering oral medications, giving diabetic shots and saline treatments.
